Regulations

  1. You may enter from 1 to 7 runners in your high school team races. If you have fewer than 5 runners you may choose to enter them in either the varsity or JV/Individual Race.
  2. According to National Federation Rules, teams starting more than 7 runners in a team race may be disqualified. (There are unlimited entries in JV and middle school races.)
  3. All team races will be scored in accordance with National Federation Rules.
  4. The National Federation uniform and body adornment rules will be enforced in all high school team races. Make necessary plans with your team if they wish to wear shirts or tights under their uniforms. Running tights, bike shorts, etc. must all be of a like color if more than one team member wears them, and they must not display any illegal logos. In addition, runners may not wear items in excess of the standard uniform, which would reflect poorly on the sport.
  5. Be aware of the MHSAA Rules for jewelry and for items, which are worn in the hair.

Arrival/Tents

Please report to the clubhouse as soon as you arrive to receive your packet and any last minute instructions. Tents may be set up in the designated area only. Please make sure the tent does not obstruct the line of sight between the starter and head timer.
