When a child is tardy or absent from school, the parent must contact the school office by note, email, phone, or in person to explain the reason for the absence.

• Non-notification will result in an unexcused absence.

• Absences not excused within 48 hours will be considered unexcused.

• If your child has three (3) consecutive absences (3 days in a row), the parent/guardian must provide the school with a doctor statement of excuse.

• After six (6) non-consecutive day absences in a marking period, the administration may require a doctor excuse for absences or at any time they deem necessary.
